Pat is from Metairie LA and “transferred” to Atlanta when he was 2. He considers himself a native of Atlanta and spent most of his time in the Gwinnett County area. He graduated from South Gwinnett High School in Snellville and received an Associate’s Degree from Gainesville College in Gainesville, Ga. His professional life has been spent in the technology field providing software solutions to owners and operators of large facilities to help them manage and maintain their assets. He married his high school sweetheart and has a son and a daughter. Pat is the founder and president of Pat’s Heart.
Bob Gargosh is a Senior Sales Executive at QTS, a global datacenter provider. For the last fifteen years, Bob has been providing Datacenter solutions and consulting services to enable his customers technology growth in support of meeting business objectives. Bob has been married to Angie for 24 years and has two sons, Mitchell and Hayden. Bob serves as a host team member for High Tech Ministries and leads a Life Lessons Over Lunch group at the QTS offices. Bob is excited to be a board member for Pat’s Heart, helping to equip people to save lives.
Marcus Sims, M.D., FACC
Dr. Sims was raised in Decatur, Georgia. He attended Redan High School in Stone Mountain and later received a soccer scholarship to Queens College of Charlotte. After receiving his Bachelors of Science in Biology, he attended Morehouse School of Medicine. At Morehouse he was the first year class president, student representative to the admissions committee and received the Internal Medicine Award for “best student.” He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Diseases and Interventional Cardiology through the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology. Dr. Sims is the marketing committee chair of Pat’s Heart.
Alex Stroud serves as the Senior Pastor of Dacula United Methodist Church in Dacula, Ga. He is a native of Hahira, Ga. and holds a degree from LaGrange College and Emory University. As a pastor, he has served churches in Dacula, Lawrenceville and McDonough. Alex has been married to his wife Erin since 2003 and they have three great kids – Ben, Faith and Addie. As a board member for Pat’s Heart, he most looks forward to seeing more and more people equipped as life savers in their own homes and communities. Alex is the treasurer of Pat’s Heart.
